Premium Lapsang Souchong — Smoked Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong (正山小种)

Compared to our other Lapsangs, this one is more lightly smoked, allowing for the flavors of the base tea to shine through.

Harvested in April from old Zheng Shan Xiao Zhong tea bushes growing at 600 meters in the Wuyi Mountains of Fujian, this exceptional black tea captures the essence of tradition and craftsmanship. After careful oxidation, the leaves are smoked over cured pine and oak wood, imparting a rich, aromatic depth that defines classic Lapsang Souchong.

The cup opens with warm notes of pine resin, dark cocoa, and sweet malt, balanced by a gentle natural sweetness that softens the smoke into a smooth, lingering finish.
